My name is Melinda Fairwell, and I have had the privilege of serving as the Utility Operations Coordinator at project: HOMES for the past four and a half years. In this role, I have worked closely with community members and partner Weatherization Service Providers to ensure that individuals and families have access to the essential resources that improve their quality of life. This experience has strengthened my passion for community engagement and reinforced my belief in the importance of connecting people to programs that not only address immediate needs but also build long-term stability, comfort, and well-being.
What inspires me most is the collaboration with the dedicated colleagues, volunteers, and community partners who share the mission of creating healthier, safer, and more sustainable homes. As I look to the future, I am eager to continue expanding opportunities for those we serve, deepening relationships within our community, and contributing to the lasting positive change that makes this work so meaningful.
